SuShi Train

Lunch & Dinner ($2- $14)

On Wednesday Chris and I decided to try out Sushi Train. We had been meaning to for a while and Wednesday is 30% off all sushi rolls. When we arrived the place was packed, but we found a seat at the sushi bar, which is always fun. We quickly put in our order for some of the traditional rolls, like the salmon skin roll, shrimp tempura roll, spicy salmon roll, and spicy crab roll. The food came out pretty quickly considering how busy they were. The rolls were delicious and the portions were more than generous. The tempura roll had pieces of shrimp so large you couldn’t even fit them in your mouth whole. We also decided to order two of their special rolls, the first was a Mexican roll filled with cilantro, spicy tuna, and jalapeño. Next, we tried the sweat heart which had a little bit of everything-deep fried spicy tuna, cream cheese, avocado, shrimp, crab meat, and was wrapped with soy paper. Chris tried some sashimi as well, and he was very pleased. My only complaint about the whole night was that we didn’t seem to have a specific waiter, and so we never knew who to talk to and we were constantly being asked the same questions by each of the waiters. However, we had a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back for more. Next time we will be sure to go on Sunday when they have their sushi train going around, with plates priced from $1.50 to $6.
